The Board of Directors of the Spina Bifida Association of Washington State (formerly
the Evergreen Spina Bifida Association) is the governing body of the Association.
This power and responsibility was given to that body by the members by adopting
the association’s by-laws.
The board consists of of the four (5) elected officers (Chair, Chair-Elect, Immediate
Past-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer) and a sufficient number of other directors so
that the total board will have at least nine (9) but not more than thirteen (13)
total members. It is the board’s responsibility to carry out the mission of the
association and to have control over the management of the association affairs including
its funds, property and strategy.
